12 Dazzling Rooms From The #OneRoomChallenge 2016

DecoratorsBest is a proud sponsor of The One Room Challenge and did these 12 designers make us proud! It’s a great feeling to see our products come to life and used in such creative spaces. From bright bold colors to edgy black and white with blues and neutrals in between, there are fabulous ideas for every taste and budget.

The One Room Challenge is the brain child of Linda of Calling it Home which inspires a group of carefully selected bloggers to  design and implement a complete room’s makeover in only six weeks. I’m sure the adrenaline rush and midnight bursts of energy contribute to the sparks of genius in these photos!

Craving storage space in her small home, Melanie Thompson first focused on cabinetry. Then the fun part- how to make the overly large and awkward tub area a space for her to luxuriate in.  She discovered  our terrific Schumacher Andromeda Charcoal fabric which pulled the entire room together.

My favorite color combo for master bedrooms is blue and white. Serene and beautiful, it is timeless AND couples all seem to like it!

A major talent in the making, Kevin O’Gara juggled working on his first ORC project while finishing his high school ones! His father’s bedroom makeover is stunning- love the blue ceiling and chandelier as well as the creative way Kevin placed the bed against the window.

“The bold curtains were one of my biggest design risks in the room, but I’m so glad I took it! The curtain fabric is Futura by Robert Allen, found at a fabulous price at DecoratorsBest.”

Thank you to our One Room Challenge design bloggers on their kind reviews or shout outs! We really appreciate it. Take a look at some of them below.

Design Manifest:

Thank you to DecoratorsBest for providing the beautiful fabrics that I turned into pillows.  I love the little repeat of leopard from the counter stools and the pop or red-orange in the ikat.

The Pink Clutch:

When I began to choose fabric for the room I immediately went to DecoratorsBest.  I absolutely love this company.  The customer service line is so helpful in helping me locate what I want.

The Pink Clutch:

Oh, and when I changed my mind at the 11th hour for wallpaper they were so good to make the change and send me the new pattern.  No questions asked and nothing but “of course, its on the way”. Amazing products and incredible customer service!  #yesplease!!

With DecoratorsBest I achieved just that.  And every single time I needed to add more, I ordered it and a few days later it would show up.  I needed more samples?  No problem, here they came.

Thou Swell:

The bold curtains were one of my biggest design risks in the room, but I’m so glad I took it! The curtain fabric is Futura by Robert Allen, found at a fabulous price at DecoratorsBest.

The Zhush:

One of the nice things with Decorator’s Best, a direct to consumer site, is they tell you right up front if the papers in stock (or not)-thankfully it is!
